Your Role

As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll make a positive difference every day by providing practical help and emotional support to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
Support with meal preparation, hydration, and feeding when needed.
Administer medication safely in line with care plans.
Perform light household duties (laundry, cleaning, shopping).
Offer companionship and emotional support through friendly visits.
Escort clients to appointments or community activities.
Monitor and report on clients’ health and wellbeing.
Maintain accurate records and communicate updates with the Home Care Manager.

Requirements

Must live in the UK and be willing to work within Oxfordshire.
Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car (required).
Right to work in the UK (required).
Proficiency in English (required).
Ability to commute or relocate to Oxford before start date.
Availability for day shifts (Monday–Sunday).

You are caring, patient, and dependable, with a genuine passion for helping others live with dignity and independence. Experience in domiciliary or healthcare settings is welcome — but not essential. With full training and continued support, you’ll quickly feel confident and valued in your role.
