- Good communication skills Compassionate and patient nature Ability to work independently Reliable and punctual Willingness to learn and follow guidance Basic understanding of personal care tasks Ability to maintain confidentiality Respectful attitude toward individuals receiving care Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Flexibility to work various shifts Understanding of safeguarding principles Basic knowledge of infection control Ability to record information accurately Experience in care (preferred but not essential) Willingness to complete mandatory training
