I am an experienced Registered Nurse and clinical leader with over 30 years of trusted nursing and management experience across NHS hospitals, private hospitals, mental health services and care homes in the UK. My background enables me to provide safe, consistent and trustworthy leadership, ensuring that FT Care Agency delivers care that families can rely on.

I hold professional qualifications in General Nursing, Psychiatry, Midwifery and Community Health Nursing, completing my nursing diploma in 1994. I have been a Registered Nurse since 1990, maintain an active NMC registration, and complete all mandatory training to keep my practice safe and up to date. I am also a long-standing member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN).

Throughout my career, I have held senior posts such as Clinical Services Manager at the Langford Centre (Bramley Health), Deputy Manager with Caring Homes Group, and Clinical Lead at Barchester Healthcare. I have many years of experience working in frontline nursing roles, supporting older adults, people with complex needs, neurological conditions, mental health challenges and those requiring rehabilitation. My work has always prioritised trust, dignity, safeguarding and person-centred care.

My leadership experience includes managing safeguarding processes, leading clinical governance, conducting audits, supervising staff, improving quality standards, and ensuring full CQC compliance. I have successfully guided teams through high-pressure situations, including pandemic response, where maintaining trust, safety and stability was essential.

With extensive skills in wound care, diabetes management, infection control, palliative care, catheterisation, tracheostomy care, risk assessment and clinical decision-making, I ensure that FT Care Agency follows strong, safe and trusted clinical procedures.

Under my leadership, FT Care Agency continues to grow as a trusted, well-led and reliable home care service, dedicated to providing individuals with safe, dignified and personalised support.

Shamim Ahmed is the Founder and Strategic Adviser of FT Care Agency Ltd. He provides strategic leadership and works closely with the management team to guide the organisation's long-term vision, business development, service improvement, and organisational growth. His focus is on building a culture of excellence that delivers safe, compassionate, and person-centred care while embracing innovation and continuous improvement.

As an entrepreneur and strategic adviser, Shamim is dedicated to creating a positive impact in people's lives, businesses, and communities. Mahraz Ahmed is an AI & Digital Innovation Associate at FT Care Agency Ltd, supporting the organisation's digital innovation and technology initiatives. As a Computer Science student at King's College London, he contributes to researching emerging technologies and exploring practical digital solutions that can improve operational efficiency, communication, and service quality.

Working alongside the leadership team, Mahraz helps identify opportunities where technology can support staff, streamline administrative processes, and enhance the overall experience of clients and their families. His work focuses on the responsible, ethical, and secure use of technology to support the organisation's long-term development.
