Job summary
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for several Care Support Workers to join our domiciliary care services at LQCS on a full or part time permanent basis.

The Role:
- To carry out and undertake specific and general tasks which will provide a good quality of care to service users to enhance and develop their well being.
- To contribute, develop and implement service users individual care and person centered plans.
- To work flexibly to meet peoples’ support needs
- To communicate effectively and professionally with all persons in the service users life.
- To work as part of a team
- To work effectively and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company with your colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- To complete induction and foundation training if you have no experience working with older people
- To undertake and complete QCF Level 2 in care as a minimum standard requirement.
- Commit yourself to developing skills and knowledge as identified by you, your line manager, people you support and organisation.
- To be person centered in all aspects of your role.
Skills / Qualifications:
- previous experience as a care support worker is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Education to GCSE level and basic english and maths skills are essential to the role.
