We are seeking a reliable, professional Cleaner to support our domestic and commercial cleaning services on a casual basis.

Job Summary

As a Domestic & Commercial Cleaner, you will provide high-quality cleaning services across private homes and commercial premises. This role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic environments and does not involve personal care. You will be expected to work professionally, follow health and safety procedures, and respect confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard in domestic homes and commercial properties * Clean kitchens, bathrooms, offices, communal areas, and shared facilities * Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitise surfaces in line with agreed specifications * Empty bins and manage waste and recycling appropriately * Use cleaning products and equipment safely and in accordance with COSHH guidelines * Follow health & safety, infection control, and site-specific procedures * Respect client confidentiality, privacy, and property * Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns promptly * Work flexibly to meet scheduled cleans and client requirements

Essential Requirements

* Previous cleaning experience in domestic, commercial, or similar environments (preferred but not essential) * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively * Reliable, punctual, and professional * Good communication skills * Ability to carry out reasonable physical tasks associated with cleaning * Basic spoken and written English

Desirable

* Experience working in clients’ homes or with vulnerable adults * Experience cleaning commercial premises (offices, communal buildings, facilities) * Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals * Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding awareness * Experience working in environments where professionalism and discretion are required
