Carer Support Worker

Job summary

We are seeking to recruit a Carer Support Worker into our friendly charity to provide visits to people at home in Cirencester and surrounding villages.

Must have full driving license and access to or own vehicle

We are proud to be a network partner charity of The Carers Trust and the only Crossroads Care rated OUTSTANDING by CQC in Gloucestershire. We provide longer visits to family Carers to enable them to take a break from their caring role. No 15 minute visits!

You will provide high quality, professional person centred care to our clients giving them their right to remain independent and dignified.

Requirements:
You don't need to have experience, just have a caring nature and a genuine interest in working in care as full training will be given.

Must have full driving license and access to or own vehicle

Responsibilities:

Assisting with personal care and other daily requirements

Serving as a companion to clients

Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands and activities

Managing medication

Preparing meals and shopping for groceries or other essentials

Providing care and support across a variety of settings
