Position Summary:
As a Temporary Care Worker, you will be an integral part of our agency, offering your skills and compassion to various healthcare environments on a temporary basis. We are looking Health Care Assistants to do shifts in a friendly environment supporting patients in a rehab centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adaptable Patient Care: Provide high quality care tailored to the specific needs of different healthcare settings, including hospitals, care homes, and community services.
- Health Monitoring: Assist with basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs, monitoring patient health, and reporting changes to registered nurses or doctors.
- Personal Care Assistance: Help patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Emotional Support: Offer emotional and social support to patients, engaging them in conversation and recreational activities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with permanent staff, ensuring a seamless integration into various teams and maintaining clear communication regarding patient care.
- Flexibility in Assignments: Be willing to accept assignments in various locations and healthcare settings, adapting quickly to new environments and teams.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, documenting care provided and observing confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Certified in a relevant healthcare discipline.
- Previous experience in a care role, whether in a hospital, care home, or community setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and work effectively within different teams.
- Reliable transportation to travel to various work locations.

- Flexibility and willingness to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
