Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Accountable for ensuring the service meets all legislative requirements,, such as those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), including maintaining registration and submitting necessary notifications.
  • Operational Leadership: Direct, day-to-day management of the service, including setting the strategic vision, managing budgets, and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered.
  • Staff Management & Culture: Recruiting, supervising, training, and developing staff, while fostering a positive, safe, and supportive team environment.
  • Safeguarding & Quality Assurance: Ensuring the safety and well-being of service users by implementing robust safeguarding procedures, quality monitoring, and risk management.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Building partnerships with local authorities, commissioners, and families, acting as the primary point of contact for external organizations. 

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in a care management role. Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent). Knowledge: Thorough understanding of regulatory standards (e.g.
