About the Company

Elite at Home provides high-quality, person-centred domiciliary care across UK. We support older people and adults with additional needs to remain safe and independent in their own homes. Our focus is simple. Deliver reliable care, recruit the right carers and build lasting relationships with families and local authorities.

We are now looking for a Business Development Officer to help us grow responsibly and strategically.

Role Overview

This role is about sustainable growth. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with commissioners and private clients, and strengthen our presence across Nottingham.

You will take ownership of the sales pipeline, support tender submissions, develop partnerships and ensure that growth aligns with our operational capacity and CQC standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands the health and social care landscape and can convert conversations into contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within domiciliary care
  • Build relationships with local authorities, social workers, discharge teams and case managers
  • Develop relationships with private clients and referral partners
  • Lead on completing tender applications and framework submissions
  • Monitor local authority portals and procurement opportunities
  • Track competitor activity and local market trends
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure safe mobilisation of new care packages
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions and projected revenue
  • Represent the company at local networking events and community forums

Person Specification

  • Experience in business development within health and social care
  • Strong understanding of domiciliary care regulations and commissioning structures
  • Knowledge of local authority tender processes
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Commercially aware and target driven
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
  • Existing relationships within Nottingham health and social care networks
  • Experience working with CQC-regulated services
  • Understanding of both private and local authority funded care models
  • Full UK driving licence
