Job summary

At Harty Homecare Services, our Field Care Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our clients. This position is key to maintaining personalised, person-centred support while upholding our commitment to excellence in homecare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of care services to clients.

  • Deploy Care Support Workers efficiently, reducing travel time while respecting client preferences and continuity of care.

  • Monitor and review the quality of care provided, making improvements where necessary.

  • Ensure all services comply with regulatory standards, company policies, and individual care agreements.

  • Confirm that care is delivered at the agreed times and for the specified duration.

  • Provide hands-on support, including personal care, in emergency situations such as staff sickness or travel delays.

  • Arrange and provide cover for unexpected staff absences.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care or supervisory role within domiciliary care is preferred.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of homecare regulations and best practices is advantageous.

  • A compassionate and professional approach with a commitment to high-quality care.

  • Minimum QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
