Job Summary
At Harty Homecare Services, our Health Care Assistants provide essential support to clients, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. This role is key to delivering compassionate, person-centred care and making a real difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities.

Support clients with mobility and household tasks as needed.

Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or wellbeing.

Follow care plans and risk assessments accurately.

Maintain accurate records of care provided.

Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and best practices.

Provide emotional and social support to clients.
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider care team.

Travel to clients’ homes as required and manage time effectively.
Requirements

Previous experience in a care or healthcare role is preferred.

Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to follow care plans and work independently or as part of a team.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Awareness of safeguarding, health, and safety best practices.
-
Required DBS checks.
