Role: Domiciliary Care Assistant – Start ASAP | Flexible Hours
Location: Greater Manchester and Wigan Area

At Adex Medical, we are currently looking for compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Workers to join our team and support people in their own homes across the Manchester area. About the Role

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will visit older people in the comfort of their own homes for an hour at a time to offer reliable and consistent companionship, meal preparation, providing medication reminders where required, cleaning, personal care and top provide essential support that helps individuals to maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming)

Providing companionship and emotional support

Supporting clients with their nutrition, hydration and overall well-being
Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks

Supporting with mobility and daily routines

Providing medication reminders where required

Maintaining and updating care records

Light Domestic Duties & Shopping Trips

Assisting with activities of daily living & social outing

Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided


Important Requirement

Successful applicants will be required to provide a clear Enhanced DBS check or be willing to undergo one. Suitable employment references will also be required as part of our safer recruitment process.

A driving license and a car are preferred, as a certain degree of travel will be necessary to carry out the visits(paid mileage + travel time)

Some evening or weekend availability is preferred.

In line with CQC & Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake enhanced DBS, right to work, reference and employment history checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.
