Role Overview

We are urgently looking for experienced and compassionate carers to support clients in the Cumberland area, including:

• Seascale
• Egremont
• Cleator Moor
• Cleator
• Frizington
• Surrounding areas

This role involves providing high-quality domiciliary care to individuals in their own homes, supporting their independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Support with daily living activities
• Assist with medication (where required)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Support with meal preparation and light household tasks
• Monitor and report any changes in client condition
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation
• Follow RAFAH Healthcare’s policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in domiciliary care or support work
• Caring, reliable, and professional attitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and available for shifts ASAP

Desirable

• Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Up-to-date mandatory training
• Driving licence (preferred due to location)
• Experience supporting elderly or vulnerable individuals
