Job Title: Care Supervisor (2 Positions)

Location: Leicestershire (must be locally based and able to travel across LCC)
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 20–30 hours per week (flexible depending on service needs)
Salary: £14.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Driving Requirement: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential
Sponsorship: No Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) available for this role

About the Role

We are seeking two dedicated and experienced Care Supervisors to support the delivery of high-quality care services across Leicestershire. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility, leadership, and a strong background in care.

You will play a key role in supporting and developing care staff, ensuring service users receive safe, effective, and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Shadow new carers during their initial shifts, providing guidance, support, and feedback

• Conduct regular supervisions, spot checks, and competency assessments for care staff

• Ensure care is delivered in line with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Support with covering care shifts when required to maintain continuity of care

• Monitor and maintain high standards of care and service delivery

• Identify training needs and support staff development

• Work closely with the management team to address performance and quality issues

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements

• Previous experience in a senior care role (e.g. Senior Carer, Team Leader, or Supervisor)

• Strong understanding of care standards and best practices

• Ability to lead, mentor, and support a team effectively

• Flexibility to work across different locations within Leicestershire

• Willingness to participate in hands-on care when required

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
