Home Care Assistant

Right to work in the UK required

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants to support children and adults in their own homes and in the community across the Huddersfield area.

Applicants must be drivers with access to their own vehicle and business insurance, as travel between visits is required.

What we offer:

  • Pay from £12.71–£16.00 per hour for carers aged 21 and over (bank holidays £16 p/h)
  • Paid mileage between visits (30p per mile)
  • Alternate weekends off and rotas given 4 weeks in advance
  • 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) and pension scheme
  • Paid training and support to gain diploma qualifications
  • Carer awards, referral scheme, and a supportive, friendly team

About the role

You’ll support people in their own homes, helping them live independently with dignity and respect. This may include medication support, personal care, meal preparation, light household tasks, and companionship. We do require all our carers to work alternate weekends.
