Job Title: Care Team Leader

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Hours: full time, 9am to 5pm and on-call covering our out of hours service on a rota basis

Location: The role is based at our office in Honley and out in the field across Kirklees and surrounding areas.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader/Compliance Officer to join our domiciliary care team, you will play a vital role in training and leading our care staff to ensure exceptional service delivery. You will be responsible for implementing field-based quality control systems and providing support to Clients and the Care team in Kirklees and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of care professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality home care services
  • Develop and review personalised care plans tailored to each client’s needs
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Support and mentor care staff through training and performance evaluations
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and their families to ensure satisfaction
  • Monitor service quality and compliance in the field and implement improvements where necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to care activities
  • Promote a positive team environment aligned with our values of compassion and excellence
  • Support the service on-call and cover care calls as and when required

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or above (or working towards)
  • Knowledge and experience of CQC and compliance
  • Proven leadership experience within a care or healthcare setting
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in developing and managing care plans
  • Valid driving licence, access to your own vehicle and business insurance for your vehicle is required
  • Strong IT skills
  • Passion for providing outstanding person-centred care
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends
