Care Support Worker

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for several Care Support Workers to join our domiciliary care services at LQCS on a full or part time permanent basis.

The Role:

• To carry out and undertake specific and general tasks which will provide a good quality of care to service users to enhance and develop their well being.
• To contribute, develop and implement service users individual care and person centered plans.
• To work flexibly to meet peoples’ support needs
• To communicate effectively and professionally with all persons in the service users life.
• To work as part of a team
• To work effectively and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company with your colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• To complete induction and foundation training if you have no experience working with older people
• To undertake and complete QCF Level 2 in care as a minimum standard requirement.
• Commit yourself to developing skills and knowledge as identified by you, your line manager, people you support and organisation.
• To be person centered in all aspects of your role.
