Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in own home setting. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well being of our clients. The Healthcare Assistant will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all service users s receive the person centered support they need.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity while providing compassionate care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals and report any changes in residents' conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Drive to various locations if required for home care visits or training sessions.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for roles that require travel between locations.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
