Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will support clients in their own homes with personal care, daily living tasks, companionship, and promoting independence. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality care within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Assisting with mobility and helping clients remain as independent as possible.

  • Providing companionship and emotional support.

  • Preparing meals, drinks, and supporting with nutrition and hydration.

  • Assisting with medication where required.

  • Completing care documentation and reporting any concerns.

  • Building positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous care experience is preferred but not essential as full training can be provided.

  • A caring, patient, and compassionate approach.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Reliable, professional, and committed to providing excellent care.

  • Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.

  • A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
