Care Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and organised Care Supervisor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting both clients and staff.

Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our domiciliary and supported living services remain compliant, safe, and responsive to the needs of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete and review person-centred care and support plans.
• Carry out comprehensive risk assessments and ensure they are regularly reviewed.
• Complete care plan reviews and update documentation as required.
• Conduct staff spot checks and competency observations to ensure high standards of care.
• Undertake quality assurance visits and spot checks within our supported living accommodation.
• Complete medication audits and create, review, and maintain Medication Administration Record (MAR) charts.
• Carry out regular audits of care records, medication, and service documentation to ensure compliance with CQC standards.
• Monitor and improve the quality of service delivery through effective auditing and action planning.
• Support care staff through supervision, guidance, and coaching where required.
• Identify training or development needs and report these to management.
• Work collaboratively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
• Ensure accurate, confidential, and timely record keeping.
• Promote safeguarding, dignity, independence, and person-centred care at all times.
• Support the Registered Manager with maintaining compliance and preparing for inspections.
