We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Care Workers / Support Workers to join our growing team in Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire.

What you will do

You will support clients in their own homes with their individual care and support needs, which may include:

  • Personal care and assistance with daily living

  • Supporting clients with mobility and independence

  • Meal preparation and light household tasks

  • Medication support, where required and trained

  • Companionship and emotional support

  • Supporting clients to access the community

  • Following individual care plans and risk assessments

  • Recording care notes accurately

  • Reporting any changes in a client's wellbeing

  • Working as part of a supportive care team

What we are looking for

You should be:

  • Caring, compassionate and respectful

  • Reliable and responsible

  • A good communicator

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Committed to providing person-centred care

  • Willing to complete all required training

Previous care experience is desirable, but we will consider applicants with the right attitude and values. Full training and support will be provided where required.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable for some care packages, particularly where community support or travelling between clients is required.
