Home care assistant (minimum 6 months experience)

Join Our Growing Care Team

Epicare Solutions is looking for experienced, reliable and compassionate Care Workers to support our existing and new clients across Tower Hamlets.

We are particularly interested in carers who already have experience working in domiciliary/home care and are looking for flexible local care work.

What the role involves

You will provide person-centred care and support to clients in their own homes. Depending on the individual client, duties may include:

• Personal care and hygiene support
• Medication support
• Meal preparation
• Mobility and moving & handling support
• Continence support
• Companionship and emotional support
• Supporting clients with their daily routines
• Maintaining accurate care records

Care visits vary depending on the client's needs and can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour or longer.

As this is community-based care, you must be comfortable travelling from one client's home to another within Tower Hamlets.

What we are looking for

Applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 6 months' previous care experience, preferably within domiciliary/home care
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be able to communicate, read and write in English to at least a basic working level
• Be reliable, punctual and professional
• Be willing and able to travel between clients within Tower Hamlets
• Have good availability and flexibility
• Be available to work weekends and Bank Holidays
• Be committed to providing safe, respectful and person-centred care
