Job Title: Live in Care Assistant (FEMALES ONLY)

Salary: £913.50 per week on & £35 per week expenses

Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Start Date : October 2026

We have an exciting opportunity for a live-in carer for an adult in the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire. This will be alternate weeks 1 on/ 1 off. Previous experience of working with people with mental health issues is essential in this role.

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS SUITABLE FOR FEMALES ONLY.

The responsibilities of this role are:

• To provide outstanding care and support to our client in their own home
• Provide companionship
• Basic help in the home, shopping and meal preparation so good cooking knowledge required
• Deliver specialist care based on training received
• Medication administration

Requirement:

• Committed, caring and compassionate with a clear desire to support others
• Enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Experience with mental health support
• Knowledge of diabetes support
• Previous experience of a live in role essential
• DBS on update service
