Almond Flex Care is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to provide safe, high-quality and person-centred nursing care across care homes, supported living, community and other healthcare settings.

Agency nurses must be professional, reliable and adaptable, with the ability to quickly understand and follow each service user's care plan, clinical needs and the requirements of the placement.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care.
• Assess, monitor and evaluate service users' health and clinical needs.
• Administer and manage medication safely in line with professional requirements.
• Complete clinical documentation, care records and nursing assessments accurately.
• Recognise and respond appropriately to changes in a service user's condition.
• Support wound care, catheter care, nutrition and other clinical interventions within competence.
• Safeguard adults and children and report concerns appropriately.
• Liaise effectively with GPs, community nurses, hospitals, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Follow infection prevention, moving and handling and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality, dignity, privacy, choice and professional boundaries.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and escalate concerns when required.
• Follow the policies, procedures and clinical requirements of Almond Flex Care and the placement provider.

Essential Requirements

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant nursing qualification.
• Valid right to work in the UK.
• Previous nursing experience in a healthcare, care home, community or similar setting.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to complete the required checks.
• Up-to-date mandatory and clinical training.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliable, flexible and professional approach to agency work.
