The Chelsea FC Foundation is helping raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society, by donating a signed football, which is being auctioned off on eBay.
Simon Taylor, head of the Chelsea FC Foundation said: “The Chelsea FC Foundation is proud to support Alzheimer's Society and has donated a signed football from our players to be auctioned online during Dementia Awareness Week.
“We're delighted to be able to help raise money for such a worthy cause and provide much-needed funds to fight against the condition.”
The auction for the signed football will close on Thursday 31 May, with all proceeds being donated to Alzheimer's Society.
Jeremy Hughes, chief executive of Alzheimer’s Society thanked the Chelsea FC Foundation and said: “The money raised from the auction will help us support people to live well with dementia today and find a cure for tomorrow. So Chelsea fans, get bidding.”
