Domiciliary care provider Sevacare continue to target successful growth, having announced the acquisition of Charnwood Care and its two branches in Hinckley and Loughborough.
The move furthers the provider’s presence in the county, with a Coalville office also in operation offering skilled and tailored care to older and vulnerable people in the comfort of their own homes.
Care services director, Debbie Dennis, commented: “It is a very exciting time for Sevacare. The Charnwood acquisition marks our continued growth and development across a number of counties. We already have an established working partnership with Leicestershire County Council and this acquisition will build upon that relationship, whilst giving us a stronger platform for growth across the County and into neighbouring areas.”
The Leicestershire offices are the latest in a number of expansions announced by Sevacare this year, who are now also operating in Birmingham, Sunderland, Sandwell, Walsall and Rotherham.
Chief executive, Roger Booker said “This acquisition now takes Sevacare’s weekly hours to over 65,000 per week. Our expansion over the last 3 years has been exceptional, with business volume more than three times the level of 2009. Whilst growth has been a cornerstone of our strategy, at no time has this been at the expense of compromising on our quality service ethos. We welcome all of the new employees to Sevacare and look forward to continuing to deliver a high quality service across Leicestershire.”
