WRVS, the older people’s charity has appointed three new trustees to its board.
They are Rosemary Brook, Fiona Joyce and Sir Paul Williams and all have extensive experience in their fields, ranging from the health and social care sectors to PR and marketing. WRVS is a charity that helps older people stay independent at home and active in their local community with the help of more than 40,000 volunteers.
Ruth Markland, chairman of WRVS Trustees, said: “We’re very pleased to welcome our three new trustees. They all have very varied and extensive expertise in key areas that WRVS would like to develop and we are excited about working with them and gaining their insight into the important work that WRVS does.”
