The charity Royal Mencap Society has launched an e-campaign asking people to email the Government and urge them to find the money needed to end the care crisis.
Recent welfare reforms have particularly affected people with disabilities and organisations such as Mencap and the Care and Support Alliance are leading the fight for more funding.
But the charities also want the public to put pressure on the Government.
The campaign asks individuals to fill out a letter template that will automatically be sent to the Secretary of State for Health Jeremy Hunt and their local MP.
The letter can be amended to add information about personal experiences or opinions on social care.
The letter can be found at e-activist.com/ea-action/action?ea.client.id=78&ea.campaign.id=19806
