Avanta Care raise 283 pounds for Breast Cancer Care

On Friday 7th November, we hosted a Pink Friday in our Head office, with all staff members wearing a pink item of clothing. We also held the Great Avanta Bake Off.

We are pleased to announce the Great Avanta Bake Off raised £283 for Breast Cancer Care.

There was some weary looking staff members on Friday morning, as the majority had been up all night perfecting (Remaking!) their goods.

Tensions ran high, as our very own Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry (Craig and Nichola) tasted the samplings, as each budding baker looked on nervously.

There was a tie-breaker for first prize between Becky's Ribbon buns and Rob's Pink flapjack, which Becky eventually won.

It was a great day, which raised a lot of money for a great cause.
