Nurse Plus scoop title of ‘Employer of the Year’

Nurse Plus will be heading to Birmingham for the national finals of The Great British Care Awards after being named as ‘Care Employer of the Year’ at the regional finals.

Nurse Plus, which has over 40 branches across the UK and its head office in Canterbury, provides support in the home and establishment nursing agency services.

Managing Director Pamela Bruce said it is the Nurse Plus staff who deserve the real praise. She said: “Winning the title of ‘Employer of the Year’ at a regional level was a huge accolade so to be recognised at a national level would be truly humbling. We have a huge amount of respect for our staff who do a fantastic job, day in, day out. Here at Nurse Plus, we pride ourselves on a set of values that run through the core of everything we do.” The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout England and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals and companies who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.

There was more good news for the company recently, having been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Homecare Provider’ category at the prestigious LaingBuisson Awards. They will head to the finals of the Great British Care Awards in June next year.
