Nurse Plus Cambridge team achieve positive CQC result

The team in Cambridge has recently been awarded a ‘good’ rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) after an inspection at the branch.

The Nurse Plus branch received positive feedback following the regulatory inspection, and was praised in particular for supporting people safely.

During the inspection, individuals supported by Nurse Plus spoke highly about the care workers and commented on how their views were considered at all times.

Nurse Plus’ customers told inspectors: “The staff know me really well and I feel safe when they help me” and “They are marvellous and I would be lost without them.”

Branch Manager for Nurse Plus, Dan Overd, said: “I am very proud of my team and so pleased that all their hard work and dedication has been acknowledged with this positive result. A big thank you to them for always doing their best to provide excellent care to so many people across Cambridge.”

The Nurse Plus homecare service was established in 2005 to provide care to people who need extra support but are keen to retain their independence and stay in their own homes.

Nurse Plus is currently recruiting for Homecare and Support Workers, Healthcare Assistants and Nurses in the Cambridge area.
