The Southampton team was joined by Alan Whitehead MP to celebrate the expansion of business, with an official ribbon cutting.
First opening its doors in 2006, our Southampton branch has seen significant growth and has moved into its newest location in Millbrook.
At the celebration, Alan Whitehead took the time to speak to staff about their roles in the community, and was able to see first hand the inspiring on-site training that is provided in the branch office.
The event culminated with a speech and celebratory ribbon cutting to officially open the new office branch.
Alan commented: “It was great to open the new offices of Nurse Plus and see examples of the training they provide to healthcare workers across the city.
“Care workers are hugely important in Southampton and I was happy to see that such a high quality agency found they needed expansion into this new office.”
Nurse Plus branch manager Sian Snook added: “I am so proud to have seen the business grow significantly where it has now become necessary to make a further move to larger offices.
“Our team is extremely excited at the prospect of having a new larger office, where they can continue to recruit and drive the business forward, ensuring there are high levels of competent trained staff available for all types of healthcare work.”
The move will ensure the Nurse Plus team continue the recruitment and supply of temporary workers who wish to work in supported living, elderly care, homecare and other healthcare settings, in and around the Southampton area.
