Working and sharing with local Communities

Stevenage Library is streets ahead of the game with its community based initiative to help people understand how to cope with dementia…

Dave Marsh of Home Instead was so impressed with their initiative that he agreed to donate a number of books encouraging people to have 'the confidence to care'.

Anne Brolly said: “There are so many wonderful contributors to our initiative in the community including Age UK, ALZ society, Carer support groups etc…. We are delighted to accept the voluntary contribution from Home Instead into our growing portfolio of resources."

Dave Marsh said: “There are so many people struggling to cope with the issues posed by dementia. I’m delighted to support that and would strongly encourage anyone who is troubled by these issues to come along to the Stevenage Central Library and make use of the wonderful resources the team here have assembled."
