Over 17 years of commitment to older people in York

Three members of the team at Home Instead in York and Ryedale were celebrating this week as they all marked the milestone of five years or more working as caregivers for Home Instead.

Debbie was the first caregiver hired by Home Instead in 2009, so she has now been with the company for over seven years. Eileen and Helen have both passed the five year mark this year.

Director, Luke Norbury, felt that this level of dedication should be recognised and has made it an annual event to recognise the commitment of team members with five years' service or more.

Luke said: "Having started Home Instead in York over seven years ago in 2009, I truly appreciate the commitment of team members who continue to provide the best quality of care possible to our elderly clients in York. As well as giving these key team members access to an extra week of holiday, I think it's important that I say thank you in a more personal way. They have made a huge difference to Home Instead York."
