Mayor of Sandwell celebrates opening of Nurse Plus branch

The team at Nurse Plus were joined by the Mayor of Sandwell to celebrate the opening of their new branch in West Bromwich, with an official ribbon cutting.

The Worshipful, the Mayor of Sandwell, Councillor Julie Webb, was invited to open the branch office and to learn more about the valuable services that staff would be providing to the local community.

Branch Manager, Dilip Sangha, welcomed the Mayor with a tour of the new premises before introducing her to health care assistants and running through the history of Nurse Plus and goals for the future.

Dilip, commented: “We were honoured to have the Mayor of Sandwell join us to celebrate the grand opening of our West Bromwich branch.

“The Mayor has worked for various charities in Sandwell supporting people with disabilities and so I was very grateful to introduce her to our company and share with her the plans we have to expand our healthcare services within the area.”

Following the ribbon cutting, the Mayor enjoyed a specially baked ‘Nurse Plus’ cake and spoke to the Nurse Plus team about what they enjoyed most about their roles.

The Mayor commented: “I was pleased to be invited to the launch of the Nurse Plus Branch in West Bromwich. There is such a need in the provision of the services they provide within Sandwell due to the increasing elderly population and the need for their services by people with mobility problems. I would like to thank them for investing in Sandwell and wish them every success”.
