Nurse Plus staff taking to the field for charity football match

Nurse Plus is inviting people along to its charity football match on Sunday 13th August at Bexhill College to raise money for national disability charity Leonard Cheshire Disability.

Nurse Plus Wanderers, consisting of staff from the health and recruitment provider, will be taking to the field in a friendly match against Bexhill United Ladies Football Club, with the proceeds going towards helping disabled people in the UK reach their full potential.

Pamela Bruce, Nurse Plus Managing Director, commented: “We’ve always taken fundraising efforts here at Nurse Plus very seriously and our latest partnership with Leonard Cheshire drives us to continue the hard work.

“We hope that families will come down and show their support for our ladies as they take on the exciting challenge. Hopefully we’ll come away as champions!”

Supporters will be able to enjoy food stalls on the day and children will get the opportunity to play on the Bexhill College pitch.

Nurse Plus are committed to supporting Leonard Cheshire by hosting fundraising challenges throughout 2017 across its nationwide branches.

Many of Leonard Cheshire’s valuable services share geographical locations with Nurse Plus branches, providing opportunities for local fundraising, as well as relationships, to develop.

A number of fundraising activities have been planned in other areas, including walking the Great Wall of China, sky dives, bake sales and coffee mornings.

Kick off is at 1pm and tickets cost £2. For more information please call 01424 420845.
