Staff at Nurse Plus’ Orpington branch are celebrating after receiving a ‘Good’ Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating during a recent inspection.
The homecare service was found to be performing well across all five areas of the inspection and staff were seen to be demonstrating a good understanding of how to ensure people’s needs were met and maintain dignity in care.
The CQC carry out regular checks on health and social care services, ensuring that the care provided is safe, effective, well-led and responsive.
Branch Manager for Orpington Nurse Plus, Andy Lovell, commented: “The dedication that the team here at Bromley puts in is second to none. We strive to deliver the best quality of care possible and I’m thrilled that the CQC report highlights their hard work. I’d like to extend my congratulations to my valued team of carers.”
The CQC report praised the team at Orpington for their dedicated training to safeguarding, the prompt and professional delivery of care, in addition to their ‘caring and helpful’ nature.
One customer said: “The carers are all great. We have a laugh and things always go smoothly.”
A relative of a customer added: “The carers are very willing, kind and helpful. They do things with cheerfulness and pleasantness. They make my loved one feel comfortable.”
Nurse Plus’ homecare service was established in 2005 to provide care, support and individuals to people wanting to remain in the comfort of their own home, across the UK. The Orpington homecare service was launched in December 2012.
