13 October 2017 Premier Homecare Limited, Bristol rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has found the quality of care provided by Premier Homecare Limited based in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol to be Outstanding following an inspection in August 2017. Inspectors rated Premier Homecare Limited Outstanding for being safe and well-led, and Good for being responsive to people’s needs, caring and effective. Premier Homecare Limited is based in Bristol and provides personal care and support to people living in their own homes. Debbie Ivanova, Deputy Chief Inspector for Adult Social Care (South), said: “I was pleased to read how Premier Homecare Limited gives an outstanding service to the people it cares for. I am struck by the extent to which the manager had focused on ensuring safety alongside independence “The team should be incredibly extremely proud of the work they do. I congratulate the staff at Premier Homecare Limited for achieving our highest rating.” Inspectors found the service worked in partnership with other organisations to make sure they followed current best practices to provide consistent high quality service. The service also demonstrated how they continually strived for excellence through consultation, research and reflective practice. People were found to be fully protected because risk management plans were in place to reduce or mitigated the risks associated with the care of people within their own environment. People benefitted from a person centred service which actively sought their views and promoted individual well-being, inclusion and openness. The provider's vision and values were consistently demonstrated by staff in their interactions with people and each other.
