Agincare Homes Holdings is pleased to announce the purchase of Tilford Park Nursing Home near Farnham, Surrey and Summerlea Nursing Home in Littlehampton, West Sussex, which took place in late December. Tilford is a 42 registered nursing home, with Fulford being registered for 74 people. Both are converted homes, which benefit from large purpose-built extensions and have been maintained to a good standard.
The sale of the two care homes was brokered by specialist business property adviser Christie & Co, who have worked with both LRH and Agincare on previous transactions.
Raina Summerson, Group CEO of Agincare, said: “Tilford Park (now called Tilford Care and Nursing Home) and Summerlea (now called Fulford Care and Nursing Home) are an ideal purchase for Agincare and show our ongoing commitment to the care home sector in the south. We felt that these homes help connect our homes in Dorset and those in Kent together and we are confident that they will have a successful long term future under our ownership.”
The Agincare team have been spending time in both of the new sites getting to know new colleagues, local professionals and of course the residents and families. They are looking forward to working with all concerned to further enhance the homes and provision of care.
