Care Wyvern has an exciting opportunity for those wanting to work within Social care and make a difference. We are looking for Full time and Part time Salaried set shift Social Care assistants to provide support for our wonderful clients in and around Taunton, Somerset.
We are offering a Bonus payment £200 for each applicant successfully completing orientation, which includes a detailed Induction training session where you learn all you need to start working at Care Wyvern, shadowing sessions with a senior/qualified carer and completion of the care certificate. The training and support does not end there though you will receive ongoing training and support with your dedicated Field care supervisor as well as training in the office. Our office is based in central Taunton so getting here is never an issue, even if it is for a cuppa and a chat.
We know that working in care can be challenging at times so we make every effort create a productive working environment as possible, including paying a tax free fuel allowance and paid travel time for all car drivers. Recently we launched Plus 30, rewarding our carers with 30p extra per hour for simply performing their jobs as well as they do. There are conditions, of course, but the feedback from our carers has been very positive and has made a significant difference to their wage packets.

We are seeking Full time and Part Time carers to work as part of our team. The salaried Shift pattern compromises of a team of Four Full time carers Two Part time evening carers, working to a set pattern. There is also an opportunity to work extra shifts if you wished to do so. The patterns for full timers include evenings and weekends.
Being Taunton based it is important that you have access to a vehicle and can drive.
