Caremark (Kirklees) Care Manager Leah Gledhill was among a group of women who bared all in the name of charity.
Leah, along with six other women whose ages range from 32 to 86, performed on the outdoor stage at the The Dalton pub in Rawthorpe, Huddersfield.
Their ‘Full Monty’ style routine, which was practised over three months, went down a storm and raised a fantastic £5,000 for the town’s Kirkwood Hospice.
Leah, whose mother-in-law Bev runs The Dalton and also took part in the routine, said: “We wanted to do something a little different to raise money so we decided on ladies night and called ourselves The Dalton Dollies.
“We put in lots of practice and during this time, one of the older ladies fell and broke her hip, but she was so determined not to miss out, she still took part in the routine sitting down.
“One of the ladies taking part successfully fought breast cancer so we thought this was a very fitting way to raise money for a great local charity.”
Taking part with Leah and Bev were Jodie Oates, Tina Hanley, Joan Rudd, Vi Lawrence and Winfred Sykes.
