Caremark Kirklees is a home care provider delivering care and support to people within their own homes and their community.

Based in Huddersfield, it provides support to enable people throughout the Kirklees area to remain living safely and comfortably within their home, while allowing them to live full and independent lives and retaining their dignity.

An accredited provider of care to Kirklees Council, as well as providing publicly funded care, it also provides care for private customers wishing to remain in their own home.

Staff help clients to remain living as independently as possible by providing different levels of care and support dependent on requirements.

Care is tailored to each client's specific needs and budget, and can include as little as half-hour support to complex round-the-clock care.

Staff and care workers are professionally trained and screened before working for Caremark, and care workers are carefully matched to clients and their individual needs to ensure the best care can be provided.

The whole focus is on delivering the highest quality of care possible in order to improve the quality of life for people who receive support.

If I could give this company more stars I would. We as a family couldn't be more grateful for the team who visit Dad. They go above & beyond, the carers are reliable, kind, chatty and so helpful. It all works like clockwork. The service provided is absolutely marvellous and my dad and us couldn't be
happier. Not forgetting the office team behind the scenes that make it all happen, they are also more than happy to help, their communication is second to none. I highly recommend to anybody needing help at home in & around the area. Thank you all.

I recommend using Caremark Kirklees to provide care for your elderly relative. It was a difficult and emotional decision to ask carers to work with my elderly aunt, but she has benefitted enormously from their kindness and physical/emotional support.
All the carers who looked after my elderly
aunt were very kind and patient. Her mental health was declining and she struggled with accepting carers in her home. Their patience and professional approach enabled her to continue to dress and feed herself wherever possible, but also benefit from their support as & when required.
I found all the Caremark staff - carers, supervisors and office based colleagues - very friendly and easy to deal with . They quickly added any additional care requests, such as supervising medication, into their routine and ensured they were met exactly as required.
I liked using the app to see the carer's notes from each visit which provided peace of mind about the loving care my aunt was receiving.

I feel the that the carer is an exceptional carer. Her approach is so kind, respectful and loving. My mother was and has been struggling with accepting care and she has made such a difference to my mother where now she looks forward to the care she receives. Her mental health has improved significantly
and is calmer. I have never met a carer who will go the extra mile with their support and treats people like they are their own family. Whenever she is working with my mother I know I don't need to worry as she is so loving and kind towards her. I wish more carers had this genuine approach.

The care support my mum gets is fantastic. The carers are amazing, make my mum feel at ease and always have conversations with her which she absolutely loves. One carer in particular is amazing and my mum's favourite.

Very helpful, especially in the mornings when I am not too well. Meals are prepared for me, as I am unable to do these myself due to balance and faintness problems. All staff are pleasant and efficient.

Job Title: Managing Director Joined: 2015

Inspired by the memory of my Grandfather, Murray Affleck, who was a well-known and respected Doctor (Consultant Physician) at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, I have opened Caremark Kirklees with the vision to become the best provider of home care in the region. The focus is on delivering the highest quality of care possible in order to improve the quality of life for the people supported by Caremark.


Born in the Holme Valley and raised in Huddersfield, I have a wide ranging business background, with both international and UK sales experience. My mission is to provide a local service where I can make a difference to those who have chosen to remain in their own home and receive personal care to enable them to be independent, secure and retain their dignity.
