Caremark Kirklees is a home care provider delivering care and support to people within their own homes and their community.

Based in Huddersfield, it provides support to enable people throughout the Kirklees area to remain living safely and comfortably within their home, while allowing them to live full and independent lives and retaining their dignity.

An accredited provider of care to Kirklees Council, as well as providing publicly funded care, it also provides care for private customers wishing to remain in their own home.

Staff help clients to remain living as independently as possible by providing different levels of care and support dependent on requirements.

Care is tailored to each client's specific needs and budget, and can include as little as half-hour support to complex round-the-clock care.

Staff and care workers are professionally trained and screened before working for Caremark, and care workers are carefully matched to clients and their individual needs to ensure the best care can be provided.

The whole focus is on delivering the highest quality of care possible in order to improve the quality of life for people who receive support.

The carers are considerate and friendly. They treat my mother with dignity. She is happy with the standard of care provided and with the particular carers assigned to her. The carers seem to enjoy their job, which makes all the difference. They are genuinely interested in my mother and her family.

Job Title: Managing Director Joined: 2015

Inspired by the memory of my Grandfather, Murray Affleck, who was a well-known and respected Doctor (Consultant Physician) at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, I have opened Caremark Kirklees with the vision to become the best provider of home care in the region. The focus is on delivering the highest quality of care possible in order to improve the quality of life for the people supported by Caremark.


Born in the Holme Valley and raised in Huddersfield, I have a wide ranging business background, with both international and UK sales experience. My mission is to provide a local service where I can make a difference to those who have chosen to remain in their own home and receive personal care to enable them to be independent, secure and retain their dignity.

Fiona started at Caremark (Kirklees) in August 2020 as our new Recruitment and Training Manager. A qualified teacher, she has joined her husband Duncan in the family business and has been tasked with attracting and training new carers as part of the expansion plans for Caremark (Kirklees)
