I contacted Caremark after my Mum had a fall at home. Following her discharge from hospital 24 hour live in support was needed to be out in place at short notice. From initial contact the team at Caremark were extremely helpful & professional. A member of the team visited Mum at home to assess her needs and then produced a detailed written care plan report within 24 hours. A carer was then assigned and was in place within 2 weeks of initial contact. The carer was a lovely gentle lady, very efficient around the house & very empathetic to Mums needs. She was very flexible and happy to adjust her time to fit in with Mums complicated recovery, even offering to stay on an extra few days at the end of the contract to fit in with ongoing plans. The team at Caremark were so easy to work with, nothing was too much trouble.

We were introduced to Carmark Brent when we were looking for morning assistance for my disabled wife. We were impressed by their attention to detail when presenting the resources of the company and subsequently when providing us with suitable carers, who have proved to be both friendly and knowledgeable. As my wife's degenerative condition has worsened the care has increased to a total of two carers for four hours per day. All of the carers provided to meet this extra resource demand have been excellent and the whole experience has been managed with thoroughness and care. We are very pleased.

We used Caremark to provide support to my parents for the last 2.5 years; initially in a home visit capacity supporting specifically my fathers needs, and then as their respective health conditions and needs changed we moved to having a live in career to support both parents including end of life care for my father. The staff were always professional, and compassionate, even when dealing with the challenges that progressive dementia can bring. We always felt that they were safe and well looked after, and we were kept well informed of any changes in situation and Caremark frequently stepped in to support any planned and or emergency trips to hospital.

Lindsy (the lady who assessed Mum) was very friendly and professional. Mixed reviews on the carers, some were friendly but others were lacking in communication skills. The catering was utterly terrible and I had to take over otherwise my mum would have starved. Two males were sent one evening to wash and dress mum. The times were either too early or too late. One carer put mums tablets in the wrong box! Communication was very poor and mum was very upset on a lot of occasions. Overall we as a family are appalled with the 'service' mum has received and will not use this company again.
I would thoroughly recommend the Caremark team at Dunmow.
