When I started with Caremark 3 years ago, I had no confidence in myself, I was hoarding, and my bipolar disorder was unstable as I was conflicted about transitioning from male to female. Since then, with their care, support, acceptance and encouragement, I have:-
Regained my confidence & self belief.
Regained control of my bipolar disorder.
Decided to approach my GP to be referred for transitioning.
I am also engaging with life, in that I have an active social life and I have started to do art again.
I also have ambitions; it has been suggested to me that I might be suitable to be a volunteer mentor for my local community mental health service - this is something I 'd like to do. I have also been asked by the Samaritans if I would be a volunteer for them ( I would do this in a few years' time). I would also like to take courses in psychology.
I also have plans to be more involved with the LGBTQ+ community, and I am also determined to get my house in final order and redecorate ASAP
