All the girls who came to help me after I'd suffered a heart attack, followed by nine days in hospital, were polite, kind and helpful. They were also resourceful, in that when I asked them to (for example) empty the dishwasher, which had become a problem for me, they generally worked out where everything
was to go.
They completed tasks, like changing the bed, very quickly and neatly. There were a number of small tasks that they did without being asked.

The carers are mostly very kind, helpful and do all I want done. They help me shower and make my breakfast. Again most are friendly and chatty, which is what I like. I don't enjoy the carers who come but do not have any conversation. My main complaint is when carer or time has been changed and I've
not been told. I understand circumstances can change at last minute but someone should phone and let me know.

We've had live-in care through Caremark for my elderly mother for over a year now and are very happy with the service we receive. It was important for my mother to to have a kind, 'chatty' carer and Caremark listened to us and found her a great match.

All the carers were very nice and did their best to look after my mother who has dementia. In the end my mother's behaviour became very challenging but they were always very kind. My mother had to be moved into a carehome but I would like to thank the team for everything they did for her whilst they

This review actually relates to services received from Caremark between February 2023 (when we started with full live-in care) to June 2025 (when we are now down to 1 care call a week and are in the fortunate position of no longer needing care support at all following successful medical treatment).
Our care needs have evolved and changed during the period and Caremark have always been responsive and caring and provided tailored support that met our needs. The central team have also been very thorough in monitoring and quality control and have always been very supportive of us. When we were initially looking for a live-in carer, Caremark were the only agency that we spoke to who were able to provide a live-in carer who could drive, which is what we needed, so we were very grateful to Caremark for being able to meet our needs - also at relatively short notice. I would definitely recommend them.

I have found Caremark excellent in every respect. There are times when I have had to repeat instructions because of a language barrier but this is getting easier over time. I find that, sometimes, training is over looked - but again once this is pointed out, the matter is addressed completely.

At the moment my mother does not need much care but it gives me peace of mind to know someone is checking her twice a day. For example, last week one of the fuses tripped and she didn't know what to do. The carer arrived shortly after and was able to reset the switch with guidance from the office.
There
is also the knowledge that if she does need more help it is available. Last year she was bedbound for several months on 2 occasions

The experience with live in carers has been good. Carers have been well matched to our requirements and with minimal change of carer. Carers have made every effort to meet our requirements and have been tolerant of a patient who can be uncooperative and ungrateful for the care provided.

Caremark were just amazing caring for my mum in her final few weeks. They were chatty, friendly and very professional, making sure that mum was as comfortable as she could be and that her needs were met. They also helped regarding the hospice, getting help pronto when mum deteriorated.
3 staff members
in particular were the main carers and we all had total faith in all of them.
