Barney invested time and careful consideration into my mother's situation over the phone. He had clearly taken note of her specific situation and put arrangements in place accordingly. He made himself available, often at short notice, and explained the process in detail. It is one thing to be told that the carers are excellent, but to hear it from my mother, who is hard to please, was something I never thought I'd hear. I honestly do not know how Barney's team have managed to win her over. They are outstanding (Kamile and Beverley). My mother talks about them with positivity and enthusiasm - they have made a world of difference to me and my family. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Caremark were recommended by a number of friends, some having had careers in social services.
We have used Caremark for several months on a one-visit-per-week basis and have been extremely pleased and satisfied with the service.
Their carers will undertake many tasks as well as personal care including driving; mostly it has been helping organise things around the house, eg clothes, but also trips out shopping and/or visiting local park.
The staff are courteous, prompt and friendly and mostly we are scheduled with same person, though naturally there are times when other duties or personal commitments mean we have another carer, but this is notified in advance. Also, Caremark are very tolerant and understanding when we need to cancel or re-arrange a visit, even at short notice.
There is a strong sense of "team" about the company and that they value and respect their staff.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

I'm a 65 year old wheelchair user and I recently sustained a shoulder injury which has made it difficult for me to shower & dress myself, so I made the decision to look for some care whilst I am going through a rehab programme for the injury.
After much research I decided that Caremark was the best choice for my needs & I have not been disappointed. After my initial phone call someone came round the following day for an assessment & to discuss my needs. A care team was put in place and they started the next day (so just two days after my first call.
I have to say that I am absolutely delighted with everything, my care team are wonderful - professional, patient, kind, knowledgeable and very friendly and the same can be said of the management & admin staff, who always manage to cater for my occasional last minute changes.

In conclusion then I can say that Caremark (Warwick) is superb and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Turned up on time, every time, and did everything I needed! Easy to get started with as well.
Was impressed that despite the short notice and the holiday period I only had two different carers over the 2.5 weeks.

Particularly appreciate Hannah chatting with me - I was on my own and the company was nice!

Overall Experience

I contacted Caremark when I desperately needed care for my father when he came out of hospital. The staff could not have been more kind and helpful in putting together a support plan. It was a huge relief as I don't live locally and am therefore limited to how much support I can give. Although my father did not actually need the support for long, the carers were always friendly and efficient. I will certainly be contacting Caremark again when required.

Overall Experience

My father is in the last stages of vascular dementia and my mother has 80% sight loss. It was my mother who contacted Caremark, and arranged a home visit from one of their staff to assess my father's needs. I was not there for that visit, so cannot comment on how it was conducted. I can say that they quickly ascertained his health conditions, the care he needed and drew up a schedule. Due to my mother not being unable to use a computer easily, it is I who book in the weekly rota visits and pay the bills. This has always been performed to a high standard by the Caremark staff. On a few occasions we have needed a 'sitter' at short notice, and they have always managed to supply a suitable person to do this. Caremark are reliable, always friendly, ever helpful, polite. They provide much physical help where my mother can no longer do so and it frees up her time so that she can get out to meet friends and family. They have improved the quality of life for the whole family. Thank you!

Caremark Warwick are the most wonderful service of carers and wonderful management team. They have been providing care for my Dad who needs some extra help at home and the carers work so well with dad at enabling and supporting him.
My dad has had a couple of hospital admissions this year and the care from Care Mark helps to facilitate my dad back into his own home and routine.

The care is also enabling my dad to stay living in his own home and to be as independent as possible a giving me piece of mind as I live about an hour away. Thank you so much to all of carers and all of the staff.

We have been fortunate to have such dedicated care from caremark for my dad, who lives with dementia. From the very beginning, the team has shown not only professionalism but genuine warmth and humanity. They have taken the time to understand his routines and most importantly-him as a person and are keen to be flexible and to support a change of time when he has a medical appointment. They treat him with patience, dignity, and kindness when helping with daily tasks, engaging him in conversation, or simply sitting with him. We feel supported, listened to, and reassured knowing he's in such caring hands. I couldn't recommend them more highly and the social media app with the office make communication so easy..

The respite care standard was consistently outstanding, far exceeding my expectations. It was so quick easy to communicate with the superbly organised office staff.
A home visit was arranged to assess my disabled, elderly Father's needs. A very professional, polite and respectful Supervisor arrived to formulate a good picture of how life is at home and what level of care was needed. A schedule was put in place and next thing you know, we have an instrumental plan of action. Moreover, Dad was very happy and looking forward to it!
When the care service started every visit was bliss, no hassles, no delays, no problems. Totally competent, reliable, and delivering a high level of care with companionship, a listening ear, a friendly face, in a courteous and respectful manner.

A massive thank you to the team, I needed a break and I was able to relax.

We have been using Caremark for a couple of years and are more than happy with the service they provide for our elderly parents. Mum and Dad both have advanced dementia and the care they both receive is kind, respectful and sensitive to their individual needs. The carers visit every weekday for 4 hours which allows my sister and myself peace of mind whilst we are at work, with the knowledge that Mum and Dad are safe and being well looked after. Caremark have also been very flexible if we have ever needed to change any of the times or days when care is needed, even at short notice. I can't recommend them enough.

Caremark have been providing me with care three times a day for over a year now and it's been a brilliant experience...the carers who visit me are not only very polite and professional but also friendly, kind and frequently fun. They make my life more enjoyable as well as helping me with my physical needs.

The office team are also very helpful to me whenever I ask for scheduling changes and its always easy to contact them, even out of hours.

I would not swap them for another care provider. I am totally happy with Caremark.

I live a long way from my mum so it has been a huge relief to know that someone from Caremark is popping round to check everything is ok. I was worried that the visits would be met with resistance, but the transition has been smooth. I'm sure this is down to the way the carers have gradually increased their support, treating my mum with great kindness and respect.

From my perspective, I really appreciate the flexibility Caremark offers. They also strike the right balance between keeping me in the loop and taking the initiative, so I don't have to micromanage everyday issues from a distance.

Knowing that I'll probably have to increase Caremark's visits as time goes on, I feel confident that they will be there for my mum - and for me - whatever the future holds.

A big thank you to everyone in the Caremark team. You have made such a difference by bringing your calm and organised approach to a situation that could so easily have unravelled if we didn't have you on hand to help.

Caremark provided care for my husband for a number of years until his death a few weeks ago. The standard of care received throughout was excellent, however the end of life care was exemplary. A small team was designated to assist him. The caregivers were gentle, caring and sensitive. They were always respectful, always making sure that he was comfortable, without moving him unnecessarily. In addition they supported me through what was a very sad and difficult time, never rushing, always calm and ready to listen.

The managers made sure that the care offered was flexible and tailored to my husband's needs, and offered additional care, eg overnight support, should this have been needed. This meant that my husband was able to die peacefully at home, as had been his wish, without the need for hospital admission, for which I shall be forever grateful. Thank you.

Caremark looked after our Dad when he just needed a shower once a week. Following a detailed initial visit, this was set up and was working well.
Dad then had a fall, and was hospitalised for a number of months. When he returned to his flat, he needed four visits a day and a night-sitter. Caremark were able to provide this additional care. They were responsive to unplanned and planned changes to the care schedule. Generally, the carers arrived and left as arranged. Whenever we were present at the same time as the carer, they seemed competent and caring. Some had more interaction with Dad than others.

The management were very good to deal with, and responded well and quickly to any concerns/issues/questions which we raised.

Caremark have been providing weekend care for my Mum, who has Alzheimer's for a period of 6 months, until she ultimately needed to move into a care home. I have always found the management team very supportive in trying to establish something that works for her - often a challenge, as the Alzheimer's leads her to mistrust people, and be prone to mood swings.

When she didn't feel comfortable with certain carers, they resolved the issue by trying different people, and found someone who she trusted and felt comfortable with. I'd like to be clear that this was unlikely to be any wrongdoing of the original carers - but a sad feature of the disease. They happily added or removed visits with little notice, and worked well with the weekday carers I had in place to offer more social interaction and ideas. I would observe that Caremark appeared a little more geared towards physical care, rather than social interaction, which is why I maintained the two separate arrangements.

Overall Experience

Mum went into hospital after a fall and was discharged with a care package from the NHS. The care the agency provided was truly awful. Mum had been looked after by Caremark for 18 months prior to the hospital admission and was happy and well looked after. We had to fight to return to Caremark, due to the vagaries of Warwickshire's commissioning systems (and despite the fact that they first connected us with Caremark 2 years ago!). But it was worth it! Mum is now happy and settled again. She is pleased to see familiar faces and carers who care, who go the extra mile and understand her needs. Very grateful.
