Carers are very helpful and friendly. Nice to talk to them especially if I have no visitors during the day. Hoping to cut back on my care visits in 2026 the more mobile and able taht I get. As I hav no transport at present, it is nice to have chats with the carers and catch up on life. I have friends that take me out to lunch and for coffee, which is very important to me. I do love to socialise.

The service provided to my mother was of a very high standard. The team were very friendly yet professional and treated my mother with the utmost respect and dignity. The team were always approachable and any questions we had were answered in a very supportive manner.

The lovely team at Caremark have been looking after mum since she was discharged from a rather long hospital stay in the summer. She had not left hospital in a particularly good way but from the first contact with Caremark things started looking up. One staff member in particular visited mum to make sure the right service was being offered and the carers that have come in have been a delight. Mum has built her confidence and health back with their care and all the team are very responsive - and we as a family are eternally grateful to them.
It is lovely to read what a difference the care assistants have made to mum since coming home and we hope to continue supporting mum with building her confidence and providing the right service needed to support mum. Thank you so much for taking the time to complete the review, I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the team.
Caremark has been caring for my mother since October 2022, the regular carers are so caring and professional with Mum, Mum has Alzheimer's/Vascular dementia. The carers attend to Mum in the morning, they know how to deal with Mum and they are caring in their approach to her, understanding how she is and as her illness has progressed. Empathetic, caring, trustworthy, and efficient in their caring duties. This also applies to the other carers that attend, caring and professional. I am so grateful for the care we receive from Caremark, they attend in the morning which helps me care for Mum, whilst I still have my daughter at school and working part-time! If I have any questions or issues regarding Mum, we are always dealt with promptly, efficiently, and resolved in a good time frame. They arrive on time and remain with Mum the whole time designated to Mum. Caremark is respectful, and kind and treats Mum with dignity, they have become an extension of our family. Thank you!

My mother and I are both very pleased with their services and care.
The carers are all very friendly, polite women who make my mother very relaxed and comfortable every morning. She looks forward to seeing them and she feels very safe around them.
It's wonderful having her chat and laugh with them during their care sessions.
It is lovely to read your comments and to hear that mum looks forward to seeing the care assistants, I know that the care assistants enjoy calling to support mum just as much. Thank you for taking the time to complete the review, much appreciated.
Job well done - the carer's experience showed. A pleasant experience after my accident.
Very pleased to read your comments on a job well done and that we were able to support you when you needed it. I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the team. Thank you for taking the time to complete the review, it is very much appreciated.
Was a seamless transition moving from council support to private. However, it took time to reconcile invoices and deposit balances. I had to do all the chasing to ensure the money owed to us was refunded.
I am pleased to read that Mum felt safe and well with the support from her team of care assistants, I know that the team enjoyed visiting Mum and wish her all the best. I am sorry that there was a delay in reconciling the invoice, this was not our intention. Thank you for taking the time to complete a review, it is very much appreciated.

I have worked in the public sector for the majority of my adult working life because I have always been one who believes in contributing to the wider community. It is this mindset of serving the community that led me to look into the healthcare sector for new opportunities. I am proud to be involved in a business that provides healthcare services to our local people. My commitment to the people we care for is that we will work tirelessly to ensure that they live their best lives within the comfort of their own homes, enhancing their quality of life and helping them live independently for longer.
Caremark is a leading healthcare provider in the UK. We care deeply about our staff and ensure they are well-trained and equipped to care for your family. I see us all, staff and the people we support, as one family and as managing director of Caremark North Herts and Stevenage, I am committed to nurturing a family culture amongst our staff and the people we support.
Claire started working in care in 2001 as an evening care assistant. She was soon promoted to Quality Assurance Officer, then Care Coordinator. Further promotions included Supervisor, then Deputy Manager.
She moved on to a different company in 2008 as Assistant Manager and was promoted to Care Manager in 2010.
In April 2013, Claire joined Caremark North Herts & Stevenage when the territory was established - it was an exciting time for her.
Claire managed to build the business from scratch, and she is very proud of the excellent standard of care that is provided by our Care Assistants. Claire has a very supportive team around, who ensure that the care we provide is outcome-based and person-centred.
She has attained NVQ level 5 and also has a teaching qualification.
Caremark North Herts & Stevenage is rated GOOD in all five areas assessed by the CQC.
Having no experience in care, I started with Caremark North Herts & Stevenage in September 2020 as a Care Assistant. With support from Caremark North Herts & Stevenage, I have now progressed to the position of Field Care Supervisor after completing my university course for social work.
I am also the HCPA champion for Dementia and End of Life Care after completing the required training.
I joined Caremark in 2021 as a part-time Care Assistant and, with the support and encouragement of the team, progressed to the role of Field Care Supervisor. I’m proud to be part of such an amazing team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
My role ensures new and prospective clients have an individual needs assessment, ensuring that each care plan is tailored to meet their specific requirements. I also conduct comprehensive risk assessments as part of the assessment process and regularly review and update these to support effective risk management and maintain the safety and well-being of those we care for.
I joined Caremark North Herts and Stevenage in September 2025, bringing with me experience working in the community, care homes, and NHS hospitals. In my role, I work to maintain the highest standards for dignity, safety, and high-quality, person-centred support for our clients.
This wide range of experience has helped me gain the Care Certificate, Level 2 in Health and Social Care, and training in manual handling, medication administration, and safeguarding. I later progressed to complete my NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
I am motivated to keep learning and continue building my skills through further training and qualifications to support my career growth.
Caremark is a progressive company that genuinely supports staff who are committed to developing and advancing in their roles.
I joined Caremark North Herts & Stevenage in 2015 as an apprentice and gained my Level 2 Business Administration qualification. I have since progressed within the company, working in all areas of the business. I now manage the finance and HR side of the business alongside the Managing Director.
I joined the team in June 2025 as Marketing Manager, with a focus on building strong local partnerships that support better outcomes for people receiving homecare.
My decision to work in homecare is driven by a desire to help remove the barriers of loneliness and isolation, which is an unfortunate reality for many in our community. I am fortunate to be able to work directly to help remove the barriers, like transport and confidence, which make it difficult to stay connected.
Our work with local organisations helps bring meaningful activities and opportunities to people who may otherwise feel isolated, supporting them to live more connected and fulfilling lives.
