Caremark have been very helpful and proactive in ensuring my son has that care that most benefits his needs. The care staff are exceptional and the manager goes above and beyond. I couldn't be happier with how everything has gone over the last year.
So pleased to read that you are happy with how things have gone over the last year, I know that the care assistants that visit look forward to visiting and enjoy their days out. Thank you for taking the time to complete the review, very much appreciated.
My mother and I are both very pleased with their services and care.
The carers are all very friendly, polite women who make my mother very relaxed and comfortable every morning. She looks forward to seeing them and she feels very safe around them.
It's wonderful having her chat and laugh with them during their care sessions.
It is lovely to read your comments and to hear that mum looks forward to seeing the care assistants, I know that the care assistants enjoy calling to support mum just as much. Thank you for taking the time to complete the review, much appreciated.
Job well done - the carer's experience showed. A pleasant experience after my accident.
Very pleased to read your comments on a job well done and that we were able to support you when you needed it. I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the team. Thank you for taking the time to complete the review, it is very much appreciated.
Was a seamless transition moving from council support to private. However, it took time to reconcile invoices and deposit balances. I had to do all the chasing to ensure the money owed to us was refunded.
I am pleased to read that Mum felt safe and well with the support from her team of care assistants, I know that the team enjoyed visiting Mum and wish her all the best. I am sorry that there was a delay in reconciling the invoice, this was not our intention. Thank you for taking the time to complete a review, it is very much appreciated.
I was never at home when the carers attended as I was working but I can say that I found the staff were available all the time when needed and were very friendly. They were quick to resolve any unavailable issues as my mum was in and out of hospital. Sometimes I requested a nurse on short notice and they still managed to find one. I only had one payment issue which was resolved quickly and without fuss. I couldn't give 5 stars because I had a couple of admin hiccups which were resolved promptly and courteously and I did not meet the carers.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the review. Our Care Coordinator takes pride in ensuring that if a person we support requires changes or extra calls at short notice the needs of the person requiring support at met. I apologise for a couple of admin hiccups you experienced and am pleased that we were able to resolve them promptly.
I would like to commend your staff for the friendly, punctual, sensitive, and caring manner in which they looked after my mother-in-law. They communicated well with their patient and her family. My father-in-law found their visits invaluable, giving him support and reassurance. I felt they genuinely wanted to do the best thing for her. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words, I will ensure that I pass them on to all staff that visit. It was a pleasure to be able to support both your mother-in-law and father-in-law. I would also like to thank you all for everything you did to assist us in delivering the care.
I would like to express my thanks to the carers, who looked after my mum, dad and the wider family. Each carer was compassionate, caring, and professional. The carers were genuine in their work and interactions with us all. We can't thank them enough.
Thank you for the review, it was our pleasure to be able to support Mum at home and I would like to thank you, Dad, and the wider family as well for all the help and assistance you gave us. I will ensure that all the care assistants who visited are entered into our monthly draw and again pass on to them your thanks for the support they gave.
My 95-year-old father has been looked after by Caremark for a number of years now. And when l say looked after l mean Well looked after. All the carers l have met, seen working, and spoken to have all been polite efficient, and professional. I am very impressed with the hard work they do. They look after him and without them, we would not be able to cope, this company is a credit to the care industry, every one of their staff from the carers up to the management has been absolutely great.
Thank you for your kind words, it is a pleasure to look after your father and all care assistants look forward to visiting him and supporting him to stay in his own home. Also, I would like to thank you for all your support in helping us deliver the care to Dad it is greatly appreciated by all of the team.
I am pleased to be able to care for my wife in the comfort of her own home with her family around her. This is made possible by the services of Caremark, whose carers visit us four times a day. The carers are polite and cheerful and they carry out their work with compassion and care with respect for my wife's dignity. We appreciate their carers very much.
Thank you for the compliments to our care assistants. I will ensure that they are passed on to them and their names will be entered into our monthly Carer of the Month Award.
Caremark has consistently been caring, kind and helpful. Not just this month but consistently throughout the last few months. Nothing is too much trouble, and they are willing to adapt to their client's needs. Thank you, Caremark!
It is lovely to hear your kind words. I will ensure your comments are passed on the the care assistants. Thank you for taking the time to complete a review for us - very much appreciated.
The care that my dad received from Caremark was absolutely amazing. Having not had the need to have carers in for Dad before, everyone, from those working in the office to the carers, was all wonderful. I can’t thank you all enough for helping us at such an emotional and difficult time. I would thoroughly recommend this company.
Thank you for your kind comments about our company and for your compliments on how our Care Assistants were able to support your dad. I will pass on your kind words to all staff members involved in supporting your dad and the family - I know they will be very happy to receive such positive feedback and validation of their excellence.
We have been very happy with the care and attention of the carers we have. They are both helpful and friendly and make us feel quite special.
Thank you for your kind words, it was lovely to hear that the carers make you feel special. I will ensure it is passed on to the team that supports you.
Caremark first came to look after my mum for six weeks following her discharge from hospital. We were so pleased with the level of care that we chose to keep the service following the expiry of that period and continued for some eighteen months until she went into residential care. This included both home visits and overnight stays. I was very impressed by the calm and compassionate manner of all the carers from Caremark and the responsive team that managed them. They looked after Mum very well indeed and we were so grateful for their support.
Thank you for your kind words, Michael. It was our pleasure to look after Mum whilst she remained at home.
Very helpful and caring, will do anything to support me.
Thank you for your valuable feedback - I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the team.
Caremark have looked after my mum for the last fifteen months. During that time, they have always attended when due and managed the care of Mum professionally and with good humour even when it was its most challenging. They were always keeping the family informed and did all they could to make her time under their care comfortable. Thank you.
Thank you for your very kind words, a pleasure and a privilege to care for a very special lady, full of character.
They are a credit to your organisation and deserve so much praise for everything they do.
Thank you for your kind words, it's very much appreciated.
As a client, I think a complete reorganisation of the current rota system is needed. At present, it is causing a lot of problems and very distressful for clients and carers alike.
Regular ladies are excellent.
The office staff are very helpful in keeping the families informed at all time’s and very quickly put care back into place after any hospital stays my mother has. Living quite a distance away from my mother, I rely on the service Caremark provide and find the office staff very accommodating.
Thank you for your help to get me started in the shower and helping me to check the temperature and thank you for showing me how to use the hairdryer as well.

Meet the Team (9)

I have worked in the public sector for the majority of my adult working life because I have always been one who believes in contributing to the wider community. It is this mindset of serving the community that led me to look into the healthcare sector for new opportunities. I am proud to be involved in a business that provides healthcare services to our local people. My commitment to the people we care for is that we will work tirelessly to ensure that they live their best lives within the comfort of their own homes, enhancing their quality of life and helping them live independently for longer.
Caremark is a leading healthcare provider in the UK. We care deeply about our staff and ensure they are well-trained and equipped to care for your family. I see us all, staff and the people we support, as one family and as managing director of Caremark North Herts and Stevenage, I am committed to nurturing a family culture amongst our staff and the people we support.

Claire started working in care in 2001 as an evening care assistant. She was soon promoted to Quality Assurance Officer, then Care Coordinator. Further promotions included Supervisor, then Deputy Manager.
She moved on to a different company in 2008 as Assistant Manager and was promoted to Care Manager in 2010.
In April 2013, Claire joined Caremark North Herts & Stevenage when the territory was established - it was an exciting time for her.
Claire managed to build the business from scratch, and she is very proud of the excellent standard of care that is provided by our Care Assistants. Claire has a very supportive team around, who ensure that the care we provide is outcome-based and person-centred.
She has attained NVQ level 5 and also has a teaching qualification.
Caremark North Herts & Stevenage is rated GOOD in all five areas assessed by the CQC.

Having no experience in care, I started with Caremark North Herts & Stevenage in September 2020 as a Care Assistant. With support from Caremark North Herts & Stevenage, I have now progressed to the position of Field Care Supervisor after completing my university course in social work.
I am also the HCPA champion for Dementia and End of Life Care after completing the required training.

I joined Caremark in 2021 as a part-time Care Assistant and, with the support and encouragement of the team, progressed to the role of Field Care Supervisor. I’m proud to be part of such an amazing team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
My role ensures new and prospective clients have an individual needs assessment, ensuring that each care plan is tailored to meet their specific requirements. I also conduct comprehensive risk assessments as part of the assessment process and regularly review and update these to support effective risk management and maintain the safety and well-being of those we care for.

I joined Caremark North Herts & Stevenage in 2015 as an apprentice and gained my Level 2 Business Administration qualification. I have since progressed within the company, working in all areas of the business. I now manage the finance and HR side of the business alongside the Managing Director.

I joined the team in June 2025 as Marketing Manager, with a focus on building strong local partnerships that support better outcomes for people receiving homecare.
My decision to work in homecare is driven by a desire to help remove the barriers of loneliness and isolation, which is an unfortunate reality for many in our community. I am fortunate to be able to work directly to help remove the barriers, like transport and confidence, which make it difficult to stay connected.
Our work with local organisations helps bring meaningful activities and opportunities to people who may otherwise feel isolated, supporting them to live more connected and fulfilling lives.

My role is to ensure all visits are allocated for the people we support, to match suitable Care and Care Assistants and to maintain appropriate office procedures.
I help ensure clients receive seamless, person-centred support and ensure their changing needs are met. By coordinating communication between different business areas, I help improve care outcomes, enhance wellbeing, and provide a consistent point of contact throughout the care journey.

I help keep everything organised behind the scenes while supporting the recruitment of great people to join our team. From managing day-to-day administrative tasks to guiding candidates through the hiring process, no two days are the same.
With over 15 years of experience in care, I made the decision in 2018 to pursue this as my full-time career. I have a background in Care Home Management and now work within domiciliary care, bringing both operational knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality support.

With over two years of experience in the care sector, having worked as a senior carer and care coordinator. I genuinely love working in care and supporting people to live safely, independently and with dignity. I am proud to be part of the Caremark team that puts compassion and respect at the heart of everything we do.
