Caremark North Dorset & South Wiltshire is built on a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves the same standard of care that the team would want for their own loved ones. Their approach is deeply person-centred, shaped around the idea that if it isn’t good enough for their family, it won’t be good enough for yours.

They focus on making a difference in the lives of the people they support, helping individuals to continue doing the things they love, stay connected to their routines, and remain independent in the comfort of their own home. With just the right level of support, they empower people to live life on their terms.
Continuity of care is at the heart of what they do. Familiar faces, consistent support, and meaningful relationships means that every person feels safe, valued, and understood.

They also believe in celebrating life’s moments, big and small. Birthdays, anniversaries, personal achievements, or simply a good day, they make sure every individual feels as special as they are.

Jo Osgood

Job Title: Registered Manager and Managing Director Joined: 2025

Born in Belfast, I later moved to Salisbury to be with my husband.

With more than 20 years of experience in the care sector—spanning both local authority services and domiciliary care—I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families with compassion and professionalism. My journey in care has given me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those in need, and a strong belief in the importance of delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

As Managing Director of North Dorset and South Wiltshire, and also serving as Care Manager, I bring both leadership and hands-on expertise to our work. Together with my husband, we made the decision to establish our own company, driven by a desire to give something back to the community that has given us so much. Our mission is to provide care that not only meets practical needs but also enriches lives, ensuring dignity, respect, and kindness are at the heart of everything we do.
These are the reasons We set up North Dorset and South Wiltshire.

Job Title: Managing Director Joined: 2025

I was born in Salisbury and have lived here all my life.

My career has always been rooted in accountancy. For more than 23 years, I have worked with the same company, where I now serve as the company's accountant. Numbers, structure, and financial responsibility have been the foundation of my professional life. At home, however, I’ve been continually inspired by Jo’s stories from her work in care—stories that highlight the difference compassion and dedication can make in people’s lives.

Starting our own domiciliary care company was a natural decision. Jo’s passion for care is something I see every day, and I wanted to be part of that journey—combining my skills in business and finance with her experience and heart for people. Together, our mission is to make a meaningful difference in our community, offering care that is not only professional but deeply personal.

Deborah Law

Job Title: Care Coordinator Joined: 2025

I live in Bulford. I am originally from Scotland, but have travelled around supporting my partner, who was in the military.

I have been involved in the care industry for almost 20 years, though not always within domiciliary care. My journey began as a carer in domiciliary services, where I quickly discovered how rewarding it was to make a difference in customers’ lives. I loved visiting them each day, learning about their families, and building meaningful connections.

For me, one of the greatest privileges of working in care is spending time with older people. They are like walking history books—full of stories, wisdom, and experiences that enrich our lives and remind us of the importance of compassion and respect.

My career has been shaped by this belief: that care is not just about meeting practical needs, but about valuing people, their stories, and the impact they continue to have on our communities.

In my current role as Care Coordinator, I am responsible for ensuring that everyone’s care needs are scheduled into a rota so they receive the visits they require. At times, it can feel like piecing together a giant jigsaw puzzle, but I thrive on the challenge. Knowing that the end result is seamless support for our customers makes the effort worthwhile

Shelly Fitz-Gerald

Job Title: Field Care Supervisor Joined: 2025

I am originally from Kent, but have made a life here in Wiltshire.

As a Field Care Supervisor, my role is to meet individuals and families at the very beginning of their care journey—when they first decide they may need support. With five years of experience in care and having worked with several domiciliary care agencies, I bring both professional knowledge and a genuine passion for making a difference.

I first entered care thanks to a friend’s suggestion. At the time, I thought care was only about personal care, but I quickly discovered how much more it involves—connection, compassion, and improving lives. I initially kept my other job while applying for my first care role, but the impact I felt on day one was so powerful that I handed in my notice immediately to pursue care full-time.

What I enjoy most is seeing the difference we make to customers. I love bringing smiles, building connections, and especially working with those who may not want care at first. Watching someone change their mind—going from reluctance to saying they don’t know how they ever managed without us—is the most rewarding part of my work.
